Labour Mobility Transfers

MLTs, MRTs and RRTs registered with another regulating body in Canada may apply for registration with CAHPPEI as a Labour Mobility Transfer applicant.

To apply for CAHPPEI registration, Labour Mobility Transfer applicants must:

Set up an account in the online registration system - HMS
Complete all the mandatory information in their profile (basic and contact information, sign the legal statement)
Request a proof of registration/letter of good standing from their regulatory body in the jurisdiction of practice to be sent directly to the registrar's office (the contact form on this website may be used for the purpose); the registrar will upload the document in the HMS account
Upload the Certificate of Insurance
Complete and sign the legal statement
Pay the application fee
Pay the registration fee

Registration or renewal: completing your application in the online registration system

In your member profile, make sure to fill out all mandatory information that applies to you and submit the required documents. Registration fee payments will not be accepted before the application is complete.

Once your information and documentation are complete, and reviewed and approved by the Registrar, the system will prompt you to pay the applicable registration fee.

It is your professional responsibility to keep your College member profile up to date—once registered, you can access your account at any time:

Update your contact information if it changes

Replace expired mandatory documents like certificate of professional liability insurance

Keep track of your professional currency hours

Keep track of your continuing education and competency activities
